WRAP & ROLL opened the second franchised restaurant in shanghai (China)

(Shanghai, 29th December 2017) - Recently, Wrap & Roll restaurant chain of Red Wok Cuisine Joint Stock Company has officially opened the second franchised restaurant in Shanghai (China), raising the total number of its franchised restaurants in Asia into 6. This is part of Red Wok Company's strategy of expanding its markets to 5 countries in the world from now to 2021. Moreover, in 2018, the Company will have 10 to 12 franchised restaurants overseas.

Accordingly, the Wrap & Roll franchise partner in Shanghai is Weilamei Shanghai and the first franchised store in this area was opened in July 2017. The investment expenditure on each franchised restaurant is known of around US$ 150,000. The entry into a Franchise Agreement with a partner in Shanghai this year has created a turning - point for Wrap & Roll in penetrating into the world's most populous country. This will also serve as a springboard for a Vietnamese company to further penetrate into other large cities in Chinese territory such as Beijing, Chengdu, Hangzhou and other Asia - Pacific markets.

Red Wok has previously been successful in the franchise to MSJ Gourmet Group with 4 (franchised) restaurants in Singaporean competitive market. The criteria for selecting its franchise partners are: being experienced in retail or in Food & Beverage business, having highly qualified staff, and especially, having an explicit long-term business plan for brand and system development for the purposes of effective take-over and development.
